I guess its time to update.
Not in the mood to,
I havent slept since thursday.
Was like waiting for my posting results,
End up it came at 6:40AM
And rofl,
CJC Arts.

Ajc Cop is like 7 this year.
Rofl.
And I couldn't even get in nyjc,
owned.
Nevertheless,
Appealed to nyjc,
With special reccomendation.
hahah.
OH.
And im in CJC Index Group 15.
Who same as me?
I dun wan be loner.
lools.

These few days been playing lots of mahjong,
First day earned a 100 +
Next day lost 700+
Then earned back few hundred,
By now lost like nearly 600,
But my parents gave me back.
LOL.
haha.

I love CNY.
And I kinda dread going to jc.
And I really hope the appeal can be thru by sunday,
So I wont have to transfer halfway,
Kinda scary.
Lols.
I dont wanna be loner.
Thou quite alot of my classmates are either in nyjc or cjc.
Alot in cjc i should say.
Haha.
only hex got into Ajc.

& my face is getting screwed up,
more and more damn acne.

must be this lack of sleep.

OK!
Finally an update.
In English.
Writing in chinese can sure cause uproar.. =.=
But then,
I find it rather pleasant to write in chinese leh.
Anyway,
Nvm about that for now.

Update on outing.
Dated: 23/1/2009
Friday
Tampines Mall
Golden Village Cinema

Looooool.
Okay.
Specific elaboration starts from here.
Met Hex at J8 Station @ 11:36
Late for 6 mins. First time.
We trained to City Hall.
Then we trained to Tampines.
Time taken = Approx 45minutes I guess.

Walked to TM..
Went Gv buy tickets.
They wanted 3 IC,
But ended up lucky,
It was fine with two.
Bought Love Matters @ 2:05PM Show.
xD

Then Hex & I decided to dine at Pizza Hut.
The stupid manager very funny,
Gave us the seats where the sun is shining.
GG.
Oh well.
Then we made our orders..
I had Chicken Something Spaghetti.
Hex ate Chicken Something Baked rice?
Ohh.
I must say their staff very good customer service.
赞!
While waiting for the food to come,
I msg the princess of the day,
To tell her we are here already,
Then Ms Stacey,
Very shocked!
She reply omg, I haven left TJ yet leh!
HAHA.
Apparently I only told her I was eating first,
After her shocked message.
=p

So the cream soup came,
Then Hex told me I was eating the wrong way,
Cause I was scooping the soup outwards!
HEHEH,
But I am sure that's the correct way for western dinning.
Then hex anyhow change say is because i slurping away.
So he want copy me,
He slurp so loud rofl.

Ok then we eat our food.
Pay money,
EH,
I din't know pizza hut dine quite hua suan,
Its like 16$ + for two lah.
赞!

Okay anyway,
After that we walk around TM,
Then Stacey very funny again,
I got direct bus,
Then the bus never come,
So I went interchange,
Interchange the bus very slow,
So I took MRT Instead.
* That was what she said I think.

When she finally appear at TM.
We couldn't spot anyone of us.
Then she asked Macdonald where?
Inside or outside?
At first,
I thought inside means inside the cafe,
Outside means outside the cafe,
So I said outside,
Then I realise it means outdoor the Macs,
So I told her inside!
LOL.
And then I told her at the Mcdonald sign,
She look at the sign and We were infront of her.
Finally.

Ah
Then this very funny girl har,
On top wear cedar,
Below wear Temasek Jc,
Very fashion 1.
HAHA xD

So we hihi hihihiihihihihi,
Then we went for the cinema.
It was around 1:40.
We forced Hex to choose food for the day,
And we practically stone there for 10mins,
Cause dono what to buy!
Ended up we bought,
Went in the cinema 4.

Hex nice guy bought sausage for Stacey.
Apparently bad intention after the sausage and meat ball movie.
HAHA.
Then throughout the movie keep horny stuff,
lmao lmao lmoa.
Dam funny especially the Mark Lee part,
And the Nightmare with Meet the Parents session.
Killer man.
Power.
HAHA.

Oh and before the movie,
Stacey and I went to the toilet,
Then she keep telling me the toilet got ghost.
Want to scare me lollolol!
Ended up she say why the females so scary 1.
xD
After that,
Stacey challenge me to watch Horror movie,
She say must buy tissue box if not later I cry.
LOL.

Okay lah,
After that,
We follow her to MRT,
Then take to bedok?
Then we follow her take bus 12 i think..
Then we escort her to TJ.
hahahahahaha!
Along the way talk alot of Ahem.
So now she says I am dam horny.
LOL!

Ok.
Then hex and me take bus back to MRT again,
Then trained to TPY and Bishan.
Had dinner and bishan,
Then went home,
On the way home,
Stacey ask me watch movie 2nd round.
Then I thought another day.
THEN SUDDENLY SHE CALL ME SAY NOW!
LOL.
Obviously It didn't happen lah hor.

So by now,
We have decided.
We shall watch movie marathon.
3 Movies,
And 1 is the stupid horror movie that Stacey want to kill me with =p

& Tadas that marks the end of the Movie Outing.
Super elaborated.
Almost everything I say liao.
LOL.

Maybe I can sleep earlier today.
Its like I am quite sleepy.
Then I should get my sleeping cycle alittle more proper..
So I won't have pimple outbreak.
GOSH.

Stupid 50 dollar cream faster save me.

I also duno leh.

Since I am happy,
I shall talk more on happy.

It is luckier to give, than to be given.
Very meaningful I feel.
Often in life,
We see others benefiting from various offers.
Maybe we will grunt..
& wonder why aren't I the lucky one.
The problem lies with "Lucky" one.
Not everytime someone gets something,
He is the lucky one.
Because have you thought,
It was because of his unlucky plight,
That led him to be given the special bonus?


Who is the lucky one,
The one who can give such bonuses,
Or the one who gets the bonus?
Obviously the person that is able to give such bonuses,
IS the lucky one.
Thus the saying.

先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐

现在的人能做到这一点吗？

我觉得，现在的父母有点像这句俗语。

把自己的孩子放在第一位，

什么事都想得非常周到。

孩子们要风得风，要雨得雨。

而父母却在为孩子分拨卖命。

这就是现代父母与孩子的关系。

但，有时候有些忘恩负义的社会败类，

却在长大后，把父母抛开。

真是叫人心酸。。。

难道这些人的良心被挖了出来吗？

说实在的，连我也不知如何回答。。。

对于这种情况。。我也只能叹一口气吧。。

人常说，血浓于水，

但为何有如此的行为呢。。。

又再次说到做人大道理。

俗话说： 靠山山會倒，靠人人會老。

所以我说，还是靠自己最好。

虽然说，有时候有别人的帮忙是件好事，

但是我们也不可能一生都依赖别人。

这不单是对别人的一种负担，也可能导致朋友疏远你。

风水家常说到贵人，但贵人能帮的，也只有这么多。

最终，要不要成功，还是属于你自己的决定。

没有一样东西能让你靠一辈子。

如此，最佳办法是靠自己。

有一首福建歌，爱拼才会赢。

相信大家都认识。

就如我常说，吃的苦中苦，方为人上人。

意思也大概一样。


虽然说，在成功的道路上常常会遇到错则与失败，

但是，失败乃是成功之母。

只有通过这些失败，我们才必定能成功。

古人云 ：不经一致，不长一智。

目的就是让我们知道，

通过种种的错则后，我们能从中吸取经验，

累积的经验就是成功的秘诀。


很多人说，跌到很可怕。

但并非如此。

“不怕百事不利，就怕灰心丧气”

跌倒并不可怕，只要懂得站起来就行了。

最可怕的事，因为一次的失败而永远不再振作起来。

那才是真正的可怕。

“决心要成功的人，已经成功了一半” 

所以，如果你曾经跌到过，

千万不要气馁。

Alright..
Lets start with some ranting.

1. I disrepect people that are : 吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸。

I guess this is obviously seen in everyday life.
Not much examples are needed to explain this.
But anyway,
Here are some examples.
LOL.
Scenario 1: When a poor person see something that is branded,
He comments : Oh that's just crap.
Scenario 2: A girl commenting that a guy is a jerk,
After failing to grab his attention.
Etc..

Such people are almost everywhere I should say.
We may be one of such at some point of time,
But hardly do we realise it.

Lets face it,
Its hard to recognize your own mistake.
Everyone loves to be right.
And if everybody is right,
Nobody can be wrong.
Sadly,
In this world,
There's always a loser.
It's just whether the loser is willing to accept that he is one,
Or that he proclaims to be the winning party too.

Everyone says he/she is right.
Nobody is wrong,
This causes problem in the society.
The main point,
Learn to be the loser if it is the case.

Many times people ask the question " Why Me? "
When asked to do a task , "Why me?"
The thing to do is actually..
"Why not me?"
Its like a concept in Yes Man.
But if everyone do use the "why not me?" theory,
We will get a chance to do something new,
Learn something special,
Giving life a spark.
Isn't it?

Not only does it make life more happy,
Because you don't grunt for why me?
But you experince new things along the way,
That brighten up your life and you become more mature.
Wonderful isn't it?

Desserts.. Main course.. Appetisers.

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them.

She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she said. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.

"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in.

"We do not go into a House together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she wanted to know.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love?

Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!"

Where there is pain, we wish you peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubting, we wish you a renewed confidence in your ability to work through them.

Alrighty.
Finally an update on the outing on 11/1
The day before Doomsday.

Met Yeo Hexiang at J8,
Then walked around,
He wanted go cut hair,
But queue very long.
So didn't cut.

We went bought tickets for Red Cliff,
Then waited for James,
In the end he met us after the movie ==.
Anyway..
We bought the Red Cliff Combo,
And the scroll,
Which was suppose to be a Red Cliff related,
Came out to be a scammed CNY scroll.
rofl.
Kana scam.
Nontheless,
Hex took it home to display.

Red cliff was quite a okay movie I guess,
The plot was totally the same from what,
My chinese teacher in p5 taught me.
So practically I knew exactly what was going to happen ==.
& Been watching all these dramas related to the romance of 3 kingdoms.

Started from the pro fight the weak.
Then the famous zhu ge liang borrow arrow plot..
Then the wind direction change plot...
And mei ren ji...
Finally caocao defeated.
And got some horse given to zhugeliang.
lool.

Okay..
Then the movie ended late..
Albert waited for a hour at MS.
=S
James waited for us at j8
Then we proceeded to MS.

KBOX.

Joshua ong came during the last hour of kbox.
& we went for pool.
And I got owned :)
After that trained to IMM..
Already 8.45.
Had Mcdonalds and went home.

"Jia Jun! I am so glad you passed your A maths."
HAHAHAAH!
That was how I collected my results!
Apparently, I thought I was going to fail too.
HAHA.
That was madness. xD
Before that,
I was staring at the slip,
The I was counting,
One A1.. Two A1.. Three A1..
YES!
That was what I wanted :p
And amazingly.
I predicted my scores totally correctly! :)

Got my A1s for chinese, history and geography.
As expected.
B3s for English, physics and emaths.
Gheez. I was so worried might not do well for Eng!

Overall happy lah.
I did my jump again when I stare at the results,
Like what I did when I got my PSLE results.

I hoping can get into AJC Arts or NYJC Arts.
So I will be in same JC with Hex!
HAHA XD

Good Morning People!
Seems like I got quite a bit for today.

Anyway,
To start off,
Here's a semi-real life story.

Gnaix was a poor boy that came from a poor family,
Thou coming from a not so favourable background,
He strives to reach the best in everything he do.
& he possesses many good attributes,
And to speak of,
He is a very kind boy.
One day,
Roj, supposedly one of his good friends,
Asked him for help.
He was told to purchase a pin number,
In which Roj needed urgently.
Thou he has not much savings left,
He spent quite an amount of money,
Just to get what Roj needed.
And he thought he had done a good deed this way.
Maybe as an old saying goes,

"好心没好报”
His friend refused to pay him back the money no matter what.
Gnaix tried to call him, but ended up being ignored.
He tried to message him, but ended up being ignored.
Roj however,
Came up with a million excuses not to pay Gnaix.
Roj comes from a rather rich family,
Yet he refuses to pay back what means so much to Gnaix.

As such,
Gnaix asked help from all his friends,
In particular HaJun.
He told him to report it to the teacher.
However,
Gnaix being soft-hearted.
He said,
If he wants to cheat my money,
Let it be.
What can I do,
I doubt the teacher can do anything either.

As such,
He took the pin number,
And asked his mother to buy 4d.
Any maybe he can get the money back from the lottery.
LOL.
yeah.
That's the end of the story.

So I was thinking,
If he really did win the money from the lottery,
I am sure the money he won,
Came from that of Roj future.
Obviously Roj deserved to be condemned.
Well however that's not the main point of the story.

The thing is,
Should we help somebody who is in need,
Or claims/acts that he is in need.
When we jolly well know there won't be good returns?
Thou we often say,
Heaven will not "Kui Dai" Good people,
But in such a case,
Gnaix is in the losing end,
Not only did he not get back the money,
He got himself trapped in a financial crisis.
So,
Is is worth it?

What do you people think?

Obviously,
To me,
I think it's not worth it at all.
Because I would rather help those that are really in need,
Than those hyprocites,
Who give you a million excuses when you need them back, 
Right?

Nevertheless,
We all know,

I certainly do not understand why children now adays,
Like to act this way.

But when you really go to European countries,

I think most can't even speak simple chinese.
What's there to be proud of,
When you are good with someone's else language,
BUT YOU YOURSELF CANT SPEAK YOUR MOTHER TOUNGUE?
This is totally disgusting.

Being proud of a thing that don't originate in you,
And discriminating your own nature.
You are after all an Asian, a Chinese.
If you can't even speak chinese well,
Fuck off about saying you speak like an ang moh.
Because I think you deserved to be slaugthered.

Looking at which,
More and more teenagers,
Getting more and more kantang?
All can't speak simple chinese,
All they say is english and more english.
What is this society becoming?

If you say you want to learn and be like an Ang Moh,
Look what they are doing first,
They PERFECT their english,
THEN they learn a new language.
And infact,
SO MANY PEOPLE ARE LEARNING CHINESE WORLDWIDE,
Yet many brats in Singapore can't be bothered to give a damn about it.
This is what I think is crap.

What is a chinese that can't speak chinese.
No matter how well you speak english in a foreign city,
You will still be regarded as an second class,
Because you afterall have a different skin colour,
You are only special in your own homeland,
For your skin colour,
For being a chinese.
Where you originated from.

As such,
Don't bother talking about speaking perfect english,
When you can't even get your own chinese well.

O's RESULTS IS OUT THIS MONDAY,
12th Jan 2009 @ 2pm.

so much excitement :/

Prior to my nervousness,
I went to a temple and got a divine lot.
But the lot meant something like,
Why ask when it's too late to change anything now anyway.

So I guess quite true.
If my results is bad,
So be it.
If my results is good,
So be it.
Nothing can be changed.
I put in my work,
And that's what I am rewarded with.

Thou everyone start to worry now,
Even me actually,
But frankly speaking,
There's totally no use worrying.
Because you can't change anything now!

If you wanted to be worried,
You should have done that way before O's started,
Then you would get properly prepared for the exam,
& Then you won't worrying last minute before getting the results.
Right?

It's too late now,
To regret,
Because every choice you make,
Leads to another future.

Life comes with alot of decision-making,
Be it minor or major choice,
It will still affect your life somehow.
As such,
I think it would be much better for us,
To make every choice seriously,
For in case we do regret it in future.

Just a social example.
In society nowadays,
Many children ignore their parents,
Especially when their parents are of elderly aged,
They thought by giving their parents money,
It will replace what emotional needs of thier parents.
There will always be a "tommorrow"
in their dictionary,
Be it to see them,
To eat with them.
But one day,
When tommorrow is impossible,
Then do they regret.
If they had treated their parents with care,
They wouldn't be regretting and their deathbeds.
I say those who regret,
Are those that should be laughed at.
Because they failed to know the importance,
Of caring for their parents.
Be it fillial-piety or whatever,
Your parents are the one that help you grow up,
You will be parents one day,
Do you want to be treated like this?
Because one day, your sons and daugthers,
Will take after you as role models.

Whats the point?
Life is precious.
Cherish people around you,
Before it's too late.

I think I am getting emoish nowadays,
especially at night.

Now again I wonder,
Why do we live,
What's our purpose of coming to Earth.
In the previous post,
I said to enjoy life.

Well but to think of it,
Maybe there are certain terms I have yet to consider.

As a child,
You are suppose to enjoy your childhood.
Everyone says childhood only appear once in your life,
And will never come back again.
So after your childhood..

You reach adolescence,
What is now your aim in life?
It is to study,
Ain't it?

And let's say you were good in your studies,
U ended university with a degree.
What's next?

It's time to work.
Work work work.
To earn money.

& Maybe after some years of work,
It's time to get married,
And there after you have children.
You continue working to feed your children.
That's your aim.
To give the best to your children.

And slowly your children grow up,
They feed you now.
So what exactly is your aim in life now?
Enjoy yourself and wait for death.

So.
What exactly is the point of coming to Earth?

To scientist,
They say to invent, To research.
And I am so sure if there were no scientist,
We wouldn't be bragging about global warming now.

To a business tycoon,
They say to earn more money,
To build a bigger empire,
And so what,
He can never spend finish the money,
Neither will the money be buried with him.

& as such.
Why do we exactly come to Earth for?
I guess it can only be a mystery.

As a chinese saying goes  “ 心有余，力不足。”
Beautifully inserts to the category.
In life,
We yearn for many things,
But it's impossible for us to get everything.

Is life set to be difficult for us?
Or is it us that make life difficult?

Life is like a pathway.
It can be a short, It may be long.
It may be wide, It may narrow.
It may be straight, It may be complex.
But one thing for sure,
Life has no U-turn.

No matter how short or how long life is,
We should never do things that we may regret.
Because you can never turn back and change things.

Whether life is a wide or narrow pathway,
It all depends with YOU.
Do you want to view life openly with unrestricted perspective?
Or do you want to view life from a pithole,
Limiting yourself to a particular ideology.
 
Whether life is straight or complex,
It still depends on you.
Why?
If you choose to live a simple life,
Your pathway would be a straight one.
But if you choose to live a complex life,
You will of course get a complex pathway.
Isn't it?

Sometimes,
We all say that life is base on fate.
Because our life is set long ago.
I guess that's true.
But there's some points I came up with.

It is possible to change fate.
Because fate is never fixed,
Its controlled by you, yourself subconsiously.
Why so, How so?
Imagine this.
You think you are stupid.
You think you can never pass exams.
So you never ever study for the test.
You said it was fate that made you destined to be stupid and to have failed.
But if you had study, are you sure you will fail?
Are you sure you will be getting the same fate?

If everyone follows this theory of fate blindly,
& go on with life aimlessly,
Blaming everything on fate.
You can only blame yourself for being unlucky.
Because you are the one that made ur fate sucked.
In opposition,
If you try to change your fate,
And is enlightened by the fact that it is possible to change,
I am certain your fate will be different.

It is dumb to live life according to your false intepretation of your fate.
Because fate is like a bank.
The more hardwork you put in,
The more dividend you get.
Thus a better future.
That is fate.

No matter how sad your life may be now,
It is still worth trying to change.
Because since your life is already at rocks bottom,
IT can't get any worst,
So why not try and change,
Maybe you will get better.
Right?

Oh yes...
Another something I saw.
佛说五百年的回眸才换来今生的擦肩而过.
Simply put,
It isn't easy to have the chance to know someone.
Every accquintance,
Is indeed fate,
Because it is fate that lets you have the chance to know someone.

& Thus,
I end off with this phrase,
"Every chance is present for a reason, never let them slip by."

Nails in the Fence

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. 

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all ! He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said:

"You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. But it won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Remember that friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to suceed.

Well,
Met up with hex.
Was supposed to meet at 12,
Hex was shitting in his house at 12:10.
His mum forgot to wake him up early.
In the end met him around 12:45.

Went Raffles City..
Brought him to River Island.
He tried on a shirt,
Didn't like it.
The rest never fancied.

Then went Topman..
He also don't like.
End up become I tried a red shirt.
Kinda bright.
Not nice,
So didn't buy either.
